Every day, 1.5 million gallons (5.7 million liters) of water flow from this 386' (118m) diameter spring. The well, highly carbonated with high arsenic levels, maintains a near constant volume of water and supports a number of endemic species. The overflow from the well has been in use for irrigation since the eighth century. Montezuma Castle National Monument, AZ USA.
